The Designer

Melissa LaBarre


Melissa LaBarre is an independent knitwear designer and co-author of the knitting books New England Knits (Interweave, 2010) and Weekend Hats (Interweave, 2011). Her designs have appeared in several books, magazines, and yarn company design collections including Vogue Knitting, Knit 1, Knitscene, Twist Collective, and Quince and Co's WOOL series. She lives in Easthampton, MA with her husband and daughter.
